• We provide opportunities for people of all ages and singing experience to offer their musical gifts in worship and to develop friendships by making music with others.  Choirs include the Sounds of Joy for pre-schoolers, the Alleluia Singers for ages 6 to 8, the Intermediate Choir for ages 9 to 14, and the Adult Choir.
  • Our principle instruments are a 14-stop pipe organ rebuilt by Guilbault-Therien and a Young Chang grand piano.  They are often supplemented by other instruments, including strings, winds, percussion and guitar.
  • All choirs and band welcome new members.
  • Hymns are both contemporary and traditional, chosen from Voices United or More Voices.  Hymn singing is led by our choirs at the 10:00 service.
  • Special music at Christmas includes our Carols, Candles and Cookies evening featuring the band and the children's choirs.
  • In the spring of each year, our congregation presents a musical drama based on a Biblical theme.
  • At the end of the choir year, the three children's choirs provide the music for worship one Sunday, by singing scripture, prayers, and other parts of the liturgy as well as anthems.

Intermediate Choir

Directed by Sally Duke B.A., M.A.

Intermediate Choir - Ages 8-14

Practice:  Every Thursday evening - 7:00-8:00 p.m.    September to May

Program:  Members sing in church most Sundays.  By rehearsing the hymns and responses, they become familiar with a rich variety of Church music, with the order of service, and with the seasons of the liturgical year.  They also learn to become worship leaders.  Once a month this choir sings an anthem, by itself, or with the Adult Choir.   Members also enjoy preparing musical plays.

 Alleluia Singers

This choir is for ages 6-8 years and meets every Thursday evening from 6:15-7:00 p.m. - directed by Sally Duke, B.A., M.Mus.  Rehearsals include time for singing with movement, exploring the singing voice, learning hymns, playing musical games and preparing to help lead in worship once a month.  They are encouraged to participate in the Christmas pageant and the spring musical.  Parents are asked to be present for rehearsals.

Sounds of Joy

This is a preschool group for ages 3-5 years, led by Amanda Wittebol.  Parents and children participate together. The children find their singing voices, participate in movement and singing games, and learn about worship.  This group does not sing in Sunday worship on a regular basis, but have the chance to show the congregation what they have learned from time to time.  Sounds of Joy practice weekly on Thursday evenings, they sing from 6:15-6:45 p.m. followed by a craft time from 6:45-7:00 p.m.  This group is limited to 15 children.
