Angela was appointed to KUC as Intentional Interim Minister in August
2008, for a two-year period. During this Transitional period, she will
provide leadership in Worship and in enabling the congregation to find a
renewed Mission for the future.
Angela is married to Keith and they reside in Fallowfield. They have
three married daughters and five grandchildren.
Ordained by the Montreal & Ottawa Conference in 1992, Angela had served
congregation in both rural and urban settings. She has served as an
Interim Minister since 2005. Her particular skills are in Worship,
Creative Writing, Pastoral Care and Contemporary Theological Studies.
She serves on the Pastoral Relations Committee of Presbytery.
Angela enjoys reading, drama, hiking and her grandchildren!

Reverend Eileen Hepplewhite

In September 2000, Kanata United Church welcomed Rev. Eileen
Hepplewhite to the ministry team. She is married to David. Eileen
and David have two daughters and son-in-laws; Anne & Chris, Lisa &
Blake. Their two grandsons are a source of great joy.
Eileen lived the first 36 years of her life in Northern England where
she taught in elementary school and later for the British Prison
Service.
A call to ministry in the U.C.C. led to an Bachelor of Arts degree in
Religion and Sociology from Carleton U. and a M. Div. From Queen's.
Following ordination in 1990 she served the Pastoral Charges of Manotick
and then Central Lanark. Her focus is on Christian Education and
Congregational Development. Eileen serves at Presbytery on Staff
Committee, does Pastoral Care at the Earl of March Secondary School and
volunteers at the Queensway Carleton Hospital with their Peri-Natal
Bereavement Response Team.
Time at home or away involves her German Shepherd, reading, oil
painting, quiet evenings with friends and seeing local drama
productions.
Eileen's call involves her in learning and facilitating others
learning about our faith and ourselves in relationship with God.
