Activities & Special Events at KUCBook Fair 2010 - Thank you to all the volunteers
who made our 2010 Book Fair another great success. We raised over $24,400 for
our M&S and Outreach programs. Throughout the past six years, Danielle Carrie
has been actively involved in the coordination of this event and our revenues
have increased each year. Family responsibilities require Danielle to step out
of this role but she will continue to work with the Children's Book Sale.
Danielle has given our Book Fair her enthusiasm, interest, creativity, and
organizational skills and we thank her for these generous gifts. The Snowstar Institute of Religion (a
progressive Christianity institution)is hosting a Conference in Stratford, April
7-10. Guest lecturers include Brandon Scott and Amy-Jill Levine. Anyone
interested in attending can get further info. from the Church Office or Angela.
Rwandan Refugees - Outreach is asking for contributions to a Bakeless Bake Sale in support of 5 Rwandan orphans. We at Kanata United have shared in the sponsorship of this family since 2005. Display and details in church hall by the coffee.
Supper will be served at 5:00 p.m. followed by a short time of worship. Then we will separate to participate in a variety of activities including:
